Summary
As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Champ's Dog House, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for our champions. Located in a welcoming environment, this position is perfect for individuals who find joy in making dogs and their owners happy while ensuring a safe and fun experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and enjoyment.
- Provide excellent customer service to dog owners during drop-off and pick-up times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area by cleaning up after the dogs and sanitizing spaces.
- Administer basic care such as feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the dogs.
- Assist in managing group play activities while ensuring proper dog behavior.
- Handle any behavioral issues with appropriate animal restraint techniques when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or animal care preferred.
- Strong animal handling skills with a passion for working with dogs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with dog owners and team members.
- Knowledge of dog behavior and basic animal care practices.
