We are currently expanding our environmental division and are hiring experienced professionals in the following positions:
Open Environmental PositionsLead Abatement SupervisorResponsible for managing lead hazard control and abatement projects in compliance with HUD, EPA, OSHA, and State of Michigan regulations. This position oversees containment setup, worker safety, project documentation, and jobsite compliance while supervising abatement crews.
Lead Abatement WorkerPerforms hands-on lead hazard control activities including component removal, enclosure, encapsulation, containment setup, cleaning, and waste handling. Candidates must follow all lead-safe work practices and environmental safety procedures.
Environmental Remediation TechnicianSupports environmental remediation projects including lead, mold, asbestos, and indoor air quality remediation. Responsibilities include containment setup, negative air operation, cleaning protocols, demolition support, and material handling.
Asbestos Abatement WorkerPerforms asbestos removal and containment activities following NESHAP, OSHA, and State environmental regulations. Duties include regulated area setup, removal of asbestos-containing materials, and proper waste packaging and disposal.
Mold Remediation TechnicianConducts mold remediation and moisture control work including containment, HEPA filtration, cleaning, material removal, and restoration in residential properties.
Radon Mitigation TechnicianInstalls and services radon mitigation systems including sub-slab depressurization systems, vent piping, and fans while following EPA radon mitigation standards.
Environmental Field TechnicianAssists with environmental inspections, site preparation, containment setup, sampling assistance, and documentation for environmental projects.
Minimum QualificationsApplicants may qualify for one or more positions if they possess:
• Experience in environmental remediation, construction, demolition, or rehabilitation
• Knowledge of EPA, HUD, OSHA, or MIOSHA safety standards
• Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred certifications include:
• EPA Lead Abatement Worker or Supervisor
• EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)
• Asbestos Abatement Certification
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Radon Measurement or Mitigation Certification
Applicants without certifications but with strong construction experience may still be considered for entry-level environmental positions.
