What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waitstaff- Home Cafe position at Chamonix Casino & Hotel?
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes customer orders accurately and serves food and beverages promptly.
- Regularly checks up on customers to ensure they are satisfied. If needed, offer refills.
- Performs sidework, including stocking condiments and paper products.
- Operates a brewer to prepare coffee for guests.
- Delivers excellent customer service. Makes guests feel welcome and want to return.
- Maintains a clean work environment. Performs general cleaning duties, including clearing and sanitizing tables
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of restaurant operations at all times. Keeps the supervisor informed of any concerns.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, hosting, or serving experience, preferably within a gaming environment. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: One (1) or more years of recent and related experience.
