Warehouse Associate

Objective:

The Warehouse Associate’s primary function is to help maintain a clean and safe work area by assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations which include warehouse efficiency, product quality and inventory accuracy.

Accountabilities:

• Manage waste removal of plastic and trash receptacles on the shop floor.
• Responsible for keeping the cleaning equipment organized and maintained and ready for use.
• Keep picking areas clear and organized by removing and staging pallets.
• Re-work all saleable products returned from out in the market by putting them in appropriate containers and returning them to correct locations in the warehouse.
• If non-saleable product is found in the warehouse due to leakers or damage, it is sorted and reworked or disposed of appropriately.
• All re-worked products will be keyed into system accurately for proper inventory adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Passionate self-starter who can work independently as well as be a team player that works well with others, motivated to learn and communicates well.
• Ability to do basic math calculations without the use of a calculator for handling inventory.
• Ability to drive forklift
• Ability to follow processes and work with a sense of urgency without close supervision.
• Able to work from 8:00am-4:30pm or until finished, Monday through Friday. (Some mandatory Saturday overtime)
• At least 1-2 years of warehouse and material handling experience preferred with pallets jacks and other PIT equipment experience.
