Objective:
The Large Format Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, customer satisfaction, and executional excellence across assigned grocery stores and Dollar General locations. This role oversees approximately 24–27 grocery stores and 34 Dollar General stores while supporting the success of Huntsville Coca-Cola through strong customer relationships, disciplined execution, and effective leadership of pre-sell teammates.
Accountabilities:
- Manages, leads, and motivates a team of 3–4 Pre-Sell Representatives through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Oversees sales execution across approximately 24–27 grocery stores and 34 Dollar General locations.
- Builds and strengthens customer relationships while ensuring proper distribution, pricing, and promotional execution.
- Partners with Sales, Delivery, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and executional excellence.
- Monitors key business indicators including volume performance, distribution, promotions, and route productivity.
- Ensures compliance with internal audit guidelines, timekeeping, and safety standards.
- Supports hiring, onboarding, and development of pre-sell teammates.
- Promotes a safe working environment and enforces safety practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience in grocery and small format retail environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and operate a pallet jack.
- Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- Flexible schedule to support customer and business demands.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with grocery chains and Dollar General accounts.
- Knowledge of pre-sell systems and DSD sales environment.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in sales or merchandising.
