What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Product Handler position at CHAMBERS BOTTLING COMPANY L L C?
Objective:
The Warehouse Re-work Product Handler’s primary function is to re-work all returned product and sort into saleable and non-saleable cases.
Accountabilities:
- Re-work all saleable product returned from out in the market that has at least 14 days shelf life by putting in appropriate containers and returning to correct pallets.
- Maintain proper rotation of dates in the re-work area.
- If non-saleable product is found in the warehouse due to leakers or damage, it is sorted and reworked or disposed of appropriately.
- In the future, all re-worked product will be logged and turned in for proper inventory adjustments.
- General housekeeping of warehouse in downtime (floors, walls, cobwebs, etc.).
- Reject wall – maintain good dates.
