Objective:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of their assigned department.
Accountabilities:
- Create and maintain records of inventory, shipment, and delivery using software and spreadsheet applications.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage and organize paperwork for shipments and delivery.
- Ensure that orders are processed and prepared for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate and communicate with warehouse staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and in a timely manner.
- Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing paperwork.
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized, and that health and safety guidelines are being followed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, such as incorrect counts or missing stock, to the appropriate team member and take corrective action.
- Develop and implement procedures for inventory management and order fulfillment to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with other administrative tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Familiarity with various software, spreadsheet applications, and clerical procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
