Overview: We are seeking a strategic and dynamic financial leader to serve as the primary finance partner for our $2B business. This role will lead financial operations across all Business Units, Customers & Channels, and New Product Development, driving performance, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape financial strategy, optimize business outcomes, and ensure robust financial planning and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior executives to drive business strategy, financial performance, and operational excellence across commercial functions.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Deliver actionable insights through gross-to-net evaluations, strategic pricing, volume/mix analysis, and spend variance reviews.
- Decision Support: Develop business cases for commercialization initiatives including new product launches and promotional activities. Ensure financial implications are clearly understood by stakeholders.
- Process Excellence: Champion continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting. Instill discipline and rigor in financial operations and decision-making.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CRO, and CPO. Influence decisions across sales, marketing, product, and operations to optimize financial outcomes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in consumer products, durable goods, or service-oriented businesses
- Strong analytical skills with experience in customer contracts, pricing strategies, and financial modeling
- Proven ability to lead through change, drive results, and influence cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Preferred:
- CPA or CMA certification (active or inactive)
- Experience in manufacturing and/or IoT environments
- Background in multi-channel businesses including retail, B2B, and digital
- Expertise in financial systems and tools that enable timely, accurate, and insightful reporting

The pay range for this position is $200,000.00 - $500,000.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
