What You Will Be Accountable For
- Apply corporate policies and procedures, including SOX-related compliance standards
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local licensing regulations across jurisdictions
- Partner with internal teams to resolve compliance-related inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
- Prepare, complete, and submit initial and renewal applications for pharmacy, DEA, business, and related licenses
- Research and interpret regulatory requirements across state, county, and local jurisdictions
- Maintain and update licensing systems, renewal calendars, and compliance tracking tools
- Execute license maintenance activities including inbox management, mail processing, and documentation tracking
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on automation and operational efficiency
- Manage new store licensing requirements, closures, and associated regulatory notifications
- Collaborate with internal business units and corporate departments to gather licensing requirements
- Interface with regulatory agencies (e.g., Pharmacy Boards, licensing authorities) to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Partner with third-party service providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of licensing activities
- Provide support to team members on application processing and workload balancing
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2–4 years of experience in administrative, compliance, licensing, or document processing roles
- Experience interpreting and processing business documentation (e.g., legal, insurance, or regulatory forms)
- Strong customer service experience supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiences
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage both physical and electronic documentation efficiently
- Adaptability in a continuously evolving, process-driven environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills when navigating regulatory ambiguity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with document tracking systems or workflow tools preferred
