Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a nationally recognized design-build architecture firm specializing in financial institutions, retail environments, and corporate spaces to identify a a strategic, hands-on BIM Manager to lead the evolution of their Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities and drive a company-wide initiative toward data-driven design and cost intelligence.
This role is not simply focused on model management—it is a systems-building leadership position responsible for establishing scalable BIM standards, developing data-embedded modeling practices, and integrating BIM with estimating and preconstruction workflows. This role will play a critical part in shaping the organization’s transition to a data-driven design-build model by establishing foundational BIM and estimating infrastructure, influencing software selection and workflow architecture, and driving how design data is translated into meaningful cost and operational insights. The individual in this position will help position the firm for scalable growth, increased efficiency, and continued innovation across its project delivery processes.

What You Will Be Accountable For
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BIM execution strategy aligned with a design-build delivery model
- Establish and enforce firmwide BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, and QA/QC protocols
- Define Level of Development (LOD) standards across all project phases
- Build scalable modeling frameworks to support downstream estimating and construction workflows
- Develop parametric Revit families and assemblies embedded with cost, material, and quantity data
- Build and maintain structured material and component libraries
- Lead integration between BIM models and estimating platforms (e.g., Destini, Procore, or similar)
- Establish workflows for model-based quantity takeoffs and reporting
- Support evaluation and implementation of estimating technologies
- Partner closely with design teams, job captains, preconstruction, and field operations
- Provide training and mentorship on BIM standards, modeling discipline, and data integrity
- Support model coordination and consultant integration
- Provide hands-on support for complex modeling, troubleshooting, and content creation
- Assist in developing conceptual and early-stage cost modeling workflows
- Provide model-derived quantity takeoffs and reporting
- Support estimating efforts during system implementation and scaling
- Flex into drafting or estimating support as project needs evolve
- Evaluate and implement emerging BIM, estimating, and AI-driven technologies
- Pilot tools for model validation, automated takeoffs, and cost forecasting
- Recommend process improvements and technology investments
- Ensure system compatibility, performance, and scalability
- Manage BIM libraries, templates, and documentation
- Oversee version control, software updates, and licensing
- Develop training materials and internal documentation
- Ensure long-term sustainability of BIM systems and workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of experience in BIM management and advanced Revit modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including:
- Parametric family creation (nested families, shared parameters)
- Schedules, data extraction, and template development
- Experience integrating BIM with estimating or preconstruction workflows
- Strong understanding of construction assemblies, detailing, and documentation
- Working knowledge of cost estimating principles and methodologies
- Experience developing and enforcing BIM standards across teams
- Experience with estimating platforms (Destini, Procore, CostX, Assemble, etc.)
- Exposure to AI tools within AEC or construction workflows
- Prior experience in a design-build environment
- Background in drafting, construction documentation, or estimating
