Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Executive Director at Chamber Music Houston, located in Houston, TX. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective implementation of organizational and programmatic goals, and closely collaborating with the Board of Directors, staff, and artists. Key duties include organizational leadership, fundraising, financial stewardship, event planning, marketing, and community engagement to further the mission and vision of Chamber Music Houston.
Qualifications
- Strategic leadership and organizational management skills
- Proven expertise in fundraising, financial management, and budget planning
- Experience in event planning, marketing, and stakeholder relationship building
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in arts administration, music, or related fields is preferred
- Ability to foster relationships with board members, donors, and community representatives
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for managing organizational and marketing efforts
