The Chamber and Development Council of Crawford County (CDC) works to strengthen the local economy by supporting businesses, promoting tourism, and organizing community initiatives that help Crawford County thrive.
We serve as a resource for local businesses while helping create a vibrant and connected community.
Position Summary
The Office Manager plays an important role in the daily operations of the CDC. This position helps manage finances, coordinate events and programs, maintain member relationships, and support the organization’s marketing and communication efforts.
This role works closely with local businesses, community leaders, and volunteers and helps support initiatives that promote economic growth in Crawford County.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial records, invoicing, deposits, and account reconciliation
- Assist with payroll processing and financial reporting
- Coordinate CDC events, programs, and meetings
- Manage member communication including newsletters, emails, and updates
- Maintain member and event records in the CRM system
- Manage CDC social media, website updates, and marketing materials
- Assist with membership recruitment, onboarding, and retention
- Prepare materials for board meetings including agendas and minutes
- Coordinate office operations including phone, email, and mail
- Support the Executive Director with organizational initiatives and projects
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Experience in business administration, accounting, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events
- Frequent standing and walking
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry items up to 10 pounds
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Occasional evenings or weekends for events
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 – $50,000 depending on experience
