Creeler 2 – Tufting Operations

Location: Hill Rd. Facility
Department: Operations – Tufting
Schedule: On-site (Not Remote) Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Position Summary

The Creeler 2 is a key member of the creel team who assists with changeovers, maintains the creel area, and helps keep the creel operating efficiently during tufting production.

Responsibilities

• Confirm correct merges of fiber are being used on the tufting machine.

• Check and adjust fiber tube positions in the creel.

• Hang, tie, or splice fiber into the creel.

• Rotate small and large fiber tubes to maximize creel loads.

• Package dunnage and fiber skids.

• Assist with decreeling and removing spent fiber tubes.

• Assist with identifying non-conforming fibers or materials.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Must demonstrate full mastery of the Creeler 1 position.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, supervisors, vendors, and others.

• Able to accept constructive feedback.

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to analyze and solve practical problems.

Work Environment

• Work takes place inside the tufting department at the Hill Rd. facility.

• This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, stand for extended periods, walk, use hands/fingers, and reach with arms.

• May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception vision with ability to adjust focus.
