The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Driller to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating drilling rigs and sampling equipment, has hands-on field experience, and is committed to safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain geotechnical drilling rigs and related equipment.
- Collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples in accordance with technical specifications.
- Install monitoring wells, piezometers, and other subsurface instrumentation.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Perform equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Accurately complete field logs, drilling records, and sample documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of geotechnical drilling experience (required).
- Proven ability to operate and maintain drilling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL or air brake endorsement an asset).
- Strong safety record and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and physical fitness for demanding fieldwork.
