About the Role

Challenge Seattle is seeking a highly skilled and trusted Executive Assistant to support the CEO and contribute to the effective operations of a five-person team.

This role is central to enabling the CEO to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The ideal candidate brings a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant will manage complex scheduling, coordinate high-level meetings and engagements, and serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and elected officials.

In addition to executive support, this role contributes to organizational operations, including event coordination, communications support, and office management. This position plays an important role in ensuring the organization operates efficiently and maintains strong relationships across its network.

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting senior executives, strong project management skills, and sound judgment in managing competing priorities.


Work Environment

·    We embrace a hybrid work model that values collaboration and autonomy.

This position requires consistent in-person presence, 3 days per week in our downtown

Seattle office, as well as on-site or in-field work for events and meetings. Two days per week

may be remote for Washington State residents. Occasional regional travel, early mornings,

evenings, and weekend commitments are required.

What You’ll Do

· Manage the CEO’s calendar and priorities, balancing competing demands

·        Coordinate executive meetings and engagements, including scheduling, preparation of materials,

and follow-up on key actions

·        Prepare and review correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and

external engagements

·        Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely,

and professional communication

·        Anticipate needs and resolve scheduling and logistical challenges in a fast-paced,

high-visibility environment

·        Handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment

·        Support coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and

public sector partners

·        Assist with communications and briefing materials to support executive engagement

·        Coordinate event logistics, including vendors and on-site support

·        Support day-to-day office operations including technology, supplies, and administrative needs

What You Bring

·        6 years of experience providing direct support to C-level executives or elected officials

with a proven ability to manage complex calendars, logistics, and competing priorities

·        Demonstrated comfort working with modern productivity tools, including AI-assisted tools

·        Strong organizational and time management skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality materials

·        Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships

·        A proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team


Employment Details

The Chamber is committed to internal and market equity. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $106,949 - $139,034 annually, based on experience. The Chamber provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including but not restricted to:
