Dealer Compliance Specialist
Job Description:
The Dealer Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing dealer-related compliance matters including buybacks, title deficiencies, merchantability concerns, first payment defaults, and dealer escalations. This role partners closely with Sales, Collections, Legal, and Funding teams to ensure timely resolution of dealer obligations while minimizing company risk.
Responsibilities:
- Review, issue, and manage dealer buyback demands related to First payment defaults, Title delays, Merchantability concerns, Fraud and Straw purchases
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve documentation deficiencies
- Serve as a liaison between Dealer Compliance, Sales, Collections, Legal, and Funding teams
- Coordinate repossession activity when applicable
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dealers regarding account resolution
- Evaluate customer payment activity and account performance after demands are issued
- Maintain tracking reports and ticketing systems
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve documentation deficiencies
Qualifications / Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
- Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills, organizational, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and acute problem-solving ability.
- Must be results oriented and possess a high level of personal initiative.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as necessary.
- High-volume account management and escalations
- Bilingual Spanish preferred (if applicable)
