Job Description:
We are seeking a Medicaid Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with their Medicaid applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted, and providing ongoing support throughout the application process. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with multiple types of Medicaid applications
- Understand Long Term Care Medicaid and MI-Choice Waiver eligibility
- Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted
- Follow up with clients to provide updates on their application status
- Answer client questions related to Medicaid eligibility and benefits
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application progress
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless client experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with Medicaid or other government assistance programs preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
