Summary/Objective
The Account Executive will demonstrate to prospects how ChaiOne delivers the right digital solutions and services for every area of their organization.
Essential Functions
Effectively utilize the ChaiOne sales strategy and ensure the company meets revenue and profit objectives through targeted prospecting of mid- to large-sized accounts
Generate new business opportunities and turn existent client relationships into recurring revenue sources
Work within a defined sales quota, focusing on initiating new relationships with decision-makers through phone, marketing, email campaigns, in-person contacts, and presentations
Assist in harvesting customer service success stories for use in internal marketing
Account planning and management
Manage all aspects of the relationship between the customer, ChaiOne, and industry partners
Participate in key industry forums and local networking events
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
5 years of experience in consulting services, selling technology solutions to C-level decision-makers or purchasing managers in mid to large enterprises
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
Ability to understand a customer’s business needs and work with the account team to architect a buying vision around ChaiOne’s solutions that solve business issues
Demonstrated success with executing account strategies and closing opportunities
Operational excellence in managing a pipeline of opportunities, revenue forecasting, and conducting account/forecast reviews with senior management
Understanding of mobile applications technologies and strategic direction or a solid understanding of technical solutions and the ability to quickly gain understanding of ChaiOne’s technologies, solutions, and business value
Familiarity with sales management tools such as Salesforce.com
Familiarity with demand generation and inbound marketing tools such as Marketo
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in the industrial sector
- MBA or other advanced business degree
Supervisory Responsibility
