Job Title: POWER EQUIPMENT DELIVERY DRIVER

Chagrin Pet, Garden, and Power Equipment is a retail dealer of high quality pet food, wild bird seed, lawn & lawn/garden supplies and Power Equipment. We are a 2nd generation of owners with over 80 years of excellence in the community. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join our organization. The integrity of every Route Driver is essential to maintaining goodwill and building new bonds of trust with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, and unloads equipment on and off trailers to transport to and from Chagrin Pet, Garden and Power Equipment Facility.
• Drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads and conforming to safety standards as prescribed.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in all aspects of the job.
• Possess physical and mental stamina commensurate with the responsibilities of the position (ability to lift 75 lbs).
• Operate power equipment (mowers, Gators, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
• Educate customer as to how the equipment works through demonstrations.
• Assist the team to accomplish any task or goal needed.
  
  

Education/Responsibilities

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and work flexible hours & shifts.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• Effectively communicate and educate customers.
• Ability to withstand the physical demands of lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and objects.
• Comfortable in a fast pace dynamic environment.
• Understands the importance of detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and is always willing to assist others when needed.
  
  

The integrity of every Route Driver is essential to maintaining goodwill and building new bonds of trust with our clients. The driver is a member of the operations team and plays an integral role as the face of Chagrin Pet, Garden and Power Equipment.
