Position Description

Chaffey College has a need for a pool of part-time instructors to teach Vocational Nursing. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Vocational Nursing instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution AND two (2) years' work experience as a registered nurse; OR 

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution AND six (6) years' work experience as a registered nurse; OR 

• Possession of a valid Lifetime California Community College credential authorizing service as an instructor in Registered or Vocational Nursing; OR 

• The equivalent.

• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
