Position Description
Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Theatre Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Drama/Theatre Arts instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's or Master of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance OR
• Bachelor's or Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance AND Master's in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature or humanities OR
• The equivalent AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.
