JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION:Location: Emergency Medical Technician Lab
Start Date: To be determined
Working Hours: Hours will varySCHEDULEChaffey College offers two Emergency Medical Technician Basic Training courses each Spring and Fall semesters. The class meetings are on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 1730-2230 and Friday’s 0930-1430. One EMT class is scheduled during the summer session, with skills practice being one to two days a week. Short-Term Workers - Emergency Medical Technician Lab are required to participate regularly in skills by signing up on the availability form each semester.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Being able and ready to work in-person with Chaffey students, Chaffey employees, or other members of the Chaffey community/Chaffey partners/Chaffey contractors is an essential function of this job.

- Equipment checkout and return
- Setting up skill stations
- Equipment familiarization and cleaning
- Demonstrating various National Registry Skills
- Operating various technologies utilized in the program
- Preparing students for skills testing
- Participating in skills testing under the direction of the course instructor
- Equipment inventory
- Other related functions during a class session
- Submitting hours worked prior to the end of the month
