Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Review blueprints and specifications to determine installation requirements and equipment needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure optimal system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used and project timelines.
- Communicate with clients to address questions and provide updates on project progress.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols on all job sites.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in HVAC systems preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures
- Current HVAC license or certification as required by local or state regulations
- EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and components, up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays, if necessary
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC installation
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools is a plus
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
