CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking two Highway Engineers to join our Highway & Rail Team in Miami, FL. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in planning, designing, and delivering forward-thinking solutions for highway and rail initiatives. This is your chance to make a meaningful difference, tackle complex mobility issues, and help define the future of transportation engineering.
What You'll Do:
- Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for highway and rail projects
- Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership
- Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices for safety and infrastructure resilience
- Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize delays in critical transportation projects
- Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering required
- Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
- Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) desired

Salary Range:
$95,000 - $110,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
