Chabad Hebrew Academy (CHA) is seeking a warm, energetic, and dependable Early Preschool Floater / Teaching Assistant to join our Preschool team. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment.
As our Early Preschool Floater, you'll support classrooms throughout the day, assist in the office when needed, help supervise lunch and playground routines, and step into classrooms to provide extra support wherever it's needed. Every day is different, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages while being an essential part of our school community.

Requirements
- Minimum of 12 ECE/CD units is required, or currently enrolled in an approved ECE/CD program working toward completion of the required 12 units.
- Infant/Toddler units are preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with young children.
Responsibilities
- Float between preschool classrooms to provide support where needed.
- Assist lead teachers with classroom activities and daily routines.
- Help supervise children during lunch, recess, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Provide coverage for classrooms during breaks and planning times.
- Assist with classroom setup, organization, and cleaning throughout the day.
- Help prepare learning materials, projects, and activities.
- Support office staff with administrative tasks and other school needs as assigned.
- Assist during arrival, dismissal, and parent pick-up/drop-off.
- Document children's learning and classroom experiences as directed.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support the overall success of the preschool program.

Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday - Thursday), 8:30 - 4:30 PM (Friday's)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
