Projects include:

• Retail
• Medical office/healthcare
• Schools
• Church builds
• Commercial interior build-outs & renovations

Project sizes typically range from $1M–$20M .

Position Overview

The Commercial Construction Superintendent will oversee daily field operations from project start through completion. This individual will manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on active commercial construction projects.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and job-site coordination.
• Lead both ground-up and interior commercial projects.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate sequencing with the Project Manager.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch-list completion.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain daily reports/logs.
• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, and field-related project issues.
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Superintendent or field leadership experience in commercial construction.
• Strong experience with both ground-up and interior commercial projects required.
• Experience with retail, medical office, schools, church builds, and commercial renovations strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schedules, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Commercial construction: 5 years (Preferred)
• ProCore: 1 year (Preferred)
• On-site leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
• Extensive Interior finish: 3 years (Preferred)
• Commercial superintendent : 4 years (Preferred)
• Ground up construction: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
