Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and impartial interpretation between English and Spanish or Portuguese.
- Facilitate clear communication while maintaining professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with client and industry standards.
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled assignments.
- Follow all client policies and interpreter ethics.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese (spoken and written).
- Previous interpreting experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain neutral and professional during assignments.
- Reliable transportation to assignments in and around Worcester, MA.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
- $30.00 per hour
- 2-hour minimum payment per assignment
