As we expand our digitalfootprint and strengthen our online presence, we are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales &SEO Specialist who can drive website growth, optimize product visibility, and support ourcustomers through exceptional sales and order-entry service.Position SummaryThis role uniquely blends SEO strategy, sales order entry, e-commerce optimization, andmarketing support. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who understands how to growwebsite traffic through effective SEO practices, improve online product discoverability, andenhance customer engagement across digital platforms. In addition, the candidate will supportdaily sales operations through order processing, quoting, and customer communication.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can think analytically, act proactively, andquickly learn cutting tool industry concepts to support both digital and inside sales functions.Key ResponsibilitiesSEO & Website Growth (Primary Focus)• Develop and execute SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, increase product visibility,and improve search ranking across our website and digital channels.• Optimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, title tags, image alt text, URLstructure, schema, and internal linking.• Conduct ongoing keyword research for cutting tool products, competitive terms, andindustry search behavior.• Partner with leadership to refine product categories, brand pages, and content structure toimprove user experience (UX) and search performance.• Analyze SEO and website analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console, BigCommerceanalytics) to identify growth opportunities.• Update and enhance product listings to better align with organic search trends and e-commerce best practices.• Assist in developing optimized written content including product descriptions, landingpages, and marketing copy.Sales & Order Entry Support (Secondary Focus)• Manage daily quotes, sales order entry, and customer follow-up through ERP/CRMsystems.• Support customers and distributors with pricing, lead-time inquiries, productrecommendations, and order status.• Learn CGS Tool’s product catalog—including standard and custom tooling—to providequick and accurate customer support.• Work closely with production, engineering, and shipping teams to maintain a high levelof customer satisfaction.E-Commerce & Marketing Support (Tertiary Focus)• Assist in maintaining and improving the CGS Tool e-commerce website (BigCommerce).• Support digital merchandising through optimized product imagery, improvedcategorization, and enhanced product detail pages.• Coordinate with leadership on promotions, new product launches, and digital marketingcampaigns.• Manage content updates across e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces asneeded.QualificationsRequired• 1–3 years of SEO experience (manufacturing or product-focused SEO stronglypreferred).• Strong understanding of keyword research, metadata optimization, content structure, andSEO best practices.• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.• Sales experience or order-entry experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrialenvironment.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to pick up new technical concepts quickly.• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independently prioritizing tasks.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general digital tools.Preferred• Experience in the cutting tool or machining industry.• Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce preferred).• Familiarity with SEO for large product catalogs.• Experience writing or optimizing marketing and product content.• Understanding of ERP/CRM systems used for quoting and order management.What We Offer• Competitive compensation with performance incentives.• Health, insurance options.• Retirement Plan participation.• Opportunities for career advancement in a growing organization.• A collaborative, supportive, and family-oriented work environment.Company DescriptionAn American company with over 45 years in the carbide cutting tool industry dedicated to the manufacturing of high quality end mills and solid carbide cutting tools for use in companies around the world.
