CGS Global is seeking Instrumentation Technicians I & II for a long-term project in Chandler, AZ. Project Details
- Location: Chandler, AZ
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime available as needed
- Travel: Up to 40% for Technician II (project dependent)
- Language: English or Spanish accepted
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and commission instrumentation and control systems.
- Install and configure field instrumentation using manufacturer specifications.
- Perform instrument calibration and loop checks.
- Assist with PLC and HMI troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform electrical terminations and verify I/O functionality.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation, wiring, and automation systems during startup.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment.
- Work alongside engineers and project teams to ensure successful system startup and operation.
Requirements
Instrumentation Technician I
- 1 years of instrumentation, industrial maintenance, or electrical experience.
- Experience using hand tools, electrical meters, and calibration equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Basic computer skills.
Instrumentation Technician II
- 4 years of instrumentation technician experience.
- Strong knowledge of PLC/HMI systems, AC/DC drives, PID loops, temperature control systems, Ethernet communications, and industrial automation.
- Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and industrial control systems.
- Ability to use calibration and diagnostic equipment effectively.
