CGS Global is seeking experienced Commercial Painters / Industrial Coaters for a commercial and industrial work with competitive pay, steady hours, and opportunities to transfer to future projects nationwide.
Project Details
Location: Phoenix Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime/weekends as needed
Day shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm
Night Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30am
Language: English or Spanish accepted
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and patching as needed
- Apply industrial paints, primers, epoxies, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Operate and maintain industrial painting and coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform coating applications on structural steel, piping, tanks, equipment, and industrial facilities
- Monitor coating thickness, consistency, and finish quality to meet project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Follow all OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and jobsite requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly handle hazardous materials
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of industrial painting or industrial coating experience
- Experience with spray systems, epoxies, and protective coatings preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating applications
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Must have own tools and PPE
- Ability to work independently and maintain jobsite standards
- Strong understanding of OSHA and workplace safety procedures
