Skills and attributes for success:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain a distributed data and application platform in production
- Integrate data from disparate source systems while preserving lineage and governance
- Build and customize operational applications, workflows, and analytics
- Design and maintain data pipelines supporting real-time and batch use cases
- Troubleshoot high-impact issues in live operational environments
- Work directly with users to understand workflows and translate needs into technical solutions
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with Python, Pyspark, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages
- Familiarity with data systems, APIs, and distributed architectures
- Ability to operate independently in customer-facing, on-site environments
- Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, real-world settings
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI Clearance or eligibility
- Strong engineering background, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
