We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy TikTok Shop Content Creator & Video Editor to join our
team part-time or full time! This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating engaging short-form videos, understands what performs well on TikTok, and knows how to turn product-focused content into videos that drive sales.
You'll work directly out of our on-site content studio, located next to our office, to film, create,
and edit content for our four bedding brands. From brainstorming ideas and researching
trending products to filming and editing the final videos, you'll be involved in the entire content
creation process.
This role is primarily focused on TikTok Shop content, which means creating videos
designed to showcase products, capture attention quickly, and encourage viewers to
purchase—not just traditional brand awareness or lifestyle content.
The ideal candidate understands the difference between standard social media content and
conversion-focused TikTok Shop videos, or is eager to learn. We're looking for someone who
can research successful TikTok Shop content, identify effective hooks and selling points, and
translate those insights into original videos for our brands.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Filming
● Plan, film, and produce engaging, product-focused TikTok Shop videos for our four
bedding brands.
● Work independently in our on-site studio to capture product demonstrations, lifestyle
content, and conversion-focused videos.
● Develop creative concepts that highlight product features, benefits, and key selling
points.
● Create videos with strong opening hooks, engaging storytelling, and clear calls to action
that encourage purchases.
● Experiment with different filming styles, product angles, and video formats to identify
what resonates with TikTok Shop shoppers.
Video Editing & Post-Production
● Edit filmed content into engaging, fast-paced videos optimized specifically for TikTok
Shop.
● Add captions, text overlays, transitions, music, and other elements that help capture
attention and drive engagement.
● Create multiple variations of videos using different hooks, selling points, and editing
styles.
● Ensure videos feel authentic, relatable, and native to TikTok rather than overly produced
or traditional advertisements.
● Organize raw footage and completed video assets for future use.
TikTok Shop Research & Creative Strategy
● Stay up to date with TikTok Shop trends, viral product videos, trending sounds, and
successful selling formats.
● Regularly research competitor brands and top-performing TikTok Shop creators to
identify successful content strategies.
● Study high-converting product videos to understand effective hooks, demonstrations,
storytelling, and calls to action.
● Bring fresh content ideas to the team based on trends, competitor research, and
successful TikTok Shop content.
● Test different creative approaches and use performance insights to improve future
videos.
Qualifications
● Previous experience creating and editing short-form video content, professionally,
freelance, or through personal social media accounts.
● Strong understanding of TikTok trends, content styles, and what makes videos engaging.
● Familiarity with TikTok Shop and product-focused, sales-driven content is strongly
preferred.
● Experience with video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar
tools.
● Comfortable filming content independently, including setting up shots, lighting, and
product displays.
● Creative mindset with an understanding of hooks, storytelling, and product marketing.
● Willingness to research competitor content, identify successful trends, and adapt them
into original videos.
● Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage content creation across multiple brands.
● Experience creating content for e-commerce, lifestyle, home goods, or consumer brands
is a plus.
