Your future duties and responsibilities

Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot.
- Design and maintain APIs, services, and different payment sources
- Work with API developers across the teams to build new API features at large-scale
- Improve API standards and services
- Review design documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates
- Provide technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
- Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
- You will complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
- You may approve technical solutions proposed by team members and elevate complex technical issues to IT experts, including architects.
- You will be expected to recommend development options, including design, build, and test.
- You will resolve technical problems discovered by the team and internal clients. Responsible for responding in a timely manner. Researching issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications.
Requirements:
5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
- 3 years of experience of Rest API development and maintenance using Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of and Experience with Java (API Dev), SpringBoot, Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge with OpenShift, Kafta will be plus
- Experience working in Agile and /or Scrum development.
- Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
- Possess ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers, as applicable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
