ICC Inspector
Qualifications:
o The applicant must possess ICC certifications as follows:
· ICC Reinforced Concrete
· ICC Masonry
· ICC Fireproofing
· ICC High Strength Bolting
o If applicant does not possess all the above, must be willing to pursue additional ICC certs.
o A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
o At minimum the applicant should have the HAZMAT and Nuclear Safety Gauge certification or the ability to obtain it.
o Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to be insurable under the company vehicle policy
o Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Responsibilities:
o You will conduct special inspections, field observation, QA/QC, and testing services during construction phases of our project, as well as materials testing, to ensure constructed projects meet specifications
o You will be expected to prepare detailed reports and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
o Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
· Observing construction activities and performing testing and measurements with the direction of a supervisory technician, project manager, or project engineer.
· Observing work for conformance with the approved design drawings and specifications
· Notifying contractor, supervisor, and/or project manager of problems and deviations from plans and specifications
o Position may require travel
o Ongoing direct client contact arranging job progress meetings, materials testing, inspection, and related activities should be expected
o May be required to work outside of normal business hours
