Plant Operator – Night/Weekend Shift
Location: Proctor, WV
Seeking a dependable, safety-focused Plant Operator to join our gas production facility in Proctor, WV. This is a hands-on position responsible for the safe operation of industrial gas production equipment and plant systems. Training is provided for motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor production equipment and plant systems
- Fill and handle industrial gas trailers
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping of the facility
- Troubleshoot equipment and assist with repairs as needed
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures
- Complete required documentation and production records
- Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and reliability
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Self-motivated with a positive, "go-getter" attitude
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Welding and industrial maintenance experience is a plus
- Previous hydrogen/industrial gas, chemical plant, manufacturing, or process plant experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment
