Tableau Developer

Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Tableau Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer with strong SQL capabilities to join our team in a hybrid role based in Reston or Washington, DC. This position involves designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating business requirements into effective data visualizations. Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Proven experience developing interactive dashboards using Tableau
Strong command of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling
Ability to gather and interpret business requirements into technical solutions
Familiarity with data visualization best practices
Experience optimizing queries and dashboards for performance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience with Salesforce (preferred but not required)
Minimum of 3 years in Tableau development

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $94,200.00 - $121,900.00.
