Position Objective
As a Construction Assistant Project Manager, you'll support the coordination of construction projects by assisting with documentation, communication, and basic project tracking. This role requires attention to detail and organizational skills as you'll help the team maintain project schedules, process paperwork, and gather information needed to keep construction moving forward smoothly. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop essential skills under mentorship while contributing to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating with project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Budget Support: Help track project costs and assist with estimating and bidding processes under supervision.
- Technical Assistance: Support the team in resolving design and field issues; document change orders and clarifications.
- Document Management: Prepare and organize contracts and purchase orders using company templates; maintain project documentation.
- Meeting Participation: Attend project meetings to take notes and track action items.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and specifications through site observations and documentation.
- Schedule Tracking: Monitor project progress against established schedules and report status to supervisors.
- Site Support: Provide field assistance to construction superintendents; help with site inspections.
- Safety Compliance: Support the implementation of safety protocols and documentation on the job site.
- Learning & Development: Gain practical knowledge of construction processes, project management techniques, and industry standards.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field
