What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant + Shipping/Receiving position at CGA Packaging Inc.?
CGA Packaging is a label manufacturer in Livermore, CA. We take pride in manufacturing in California and helping other makers get their product to market affordably and with some style. We strongly embrace the small company mentality, adjusting to needs as they change and turning on a dime when needed. We are looking for a production associate to support our production manager.
The position entails making up boxes, wrapping pallets, shipping/receiving, general shop help and moving materials.
Candidates should be comfortable lifting 50 lbs and either proficient on a forklift or willing to learn. Candidates that have decent math skills, computer skills and organizational qualities are preferred.
We are really looking for someone that we don't have to constantly manage. There is plenty of room to grow in this company if that is what you're looking for. Where you land here is up to you.
