What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotic Welder/Automation Programmer position at CG Staffing Solutions?
Program and operate robotic welding systems for both similar and dissimilar metals (Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel). Prior knowledge of welding principles and machinery is essential. Understand welding practices, including weld wire types (solid and flux core), gas, flux, and cutting methods (plasma and oxy/fuel), as well as various welding positions (flat, corner, overhead, vertical). Program and operate high-definition plasma cutting tables. Read and interpret moderate complex drawings and prints to ensure accurate fabrication. Utilize hand and power tools, including grinders, hammers, plate rolls, punch presses, and wrenches. Design and build tools and fixtures to enhance production processes. Create simple jigs or fixtures based on prints or original designs as needed. Layout work effectively and follow instructions accurately. Commit to maintaining a safe production environment.
