CFSB is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on cybersecurity or IT security engineering experience. This role supports the bank’s cybersecurity operations, security architecture, and engineering initiatives, including building and maturing the in-house SOC.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain security tools and solutions to protect CFSB’s environment.
- Assist in building and supporting the bank’s in-house SOC, including monitoring and alert tuning.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, assessments, and remediation activities.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents and collaborate on investigations.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Ensure compliance with GLBA, FFIEC, NIST, PCI-DSS, and other banking regulatory frameworks.
- Support secure system architecture and work closely with IT and business teams.
- Participate in security awareness, training, and audit support activities.
- Strong understanding of network security, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, and cloud security.
- Working knowledge of banking regulatory requirements.
- 4–6 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (Security , CEH, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
