- The Vice President, Tax will serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors during audits and controversy matters.
- Build, mentor, and develop the tax team while enhancing systems, controls, and operational efficiencies.
- Successful candidates for the Vice President, Tax role will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation; MST, JD, or LLM preferred.
- CPA preferred with deep expertise in corporate taxation, tax planning, and tax reporting.
- The Vice President, Tax should bring 10 years of progressive tax leadership experience, including management of a corporate tax function.
- Experience with ASC 740, multi-entity structures, M&A tax matters, and tax-exempt organizations required.
- Backgrounds in trust taxation, fiduciary taxation, fund taxation, or asset management taxation are highly transferable to the Vice President, Tax position.
- The Vice President, Tax must demonstrate executive presence and the ability to communicate complex tax matters to senior leadership, audit committees, and boards of directors.
