- The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and month-end close activities while working closely with leadership.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the month-end and year-end close
- Ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and in compliance with GAAP
- Manage revenue recognition activities and assist in preparing financial reports for internal use
- Review and code credit card transactions for proper general ledger classification
- Oversee and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure internal controls are followed
- Support external audit efforts by preparing required documentation and schedules
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements
- Partner with the Controller on special projects and help streamline accounting processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 3–5 years coming directly out of public accounting
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial close processes
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Must be comfortable with light travel
