Property Accountant (Commercial Real Estate)
Full - Time, Hybrid
Our client is seeking a Property Accountant to manage financial reporting and accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties, including office, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality assets within a third-party ownership portfolio. The Property Accountant is a highly collaborative role reporting to the Assistant Controller, with strong visibility across property management, ownership and internal leadership.

Key Responsibilities Of The Property Accountant
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial statements for assigned properties
- Perform general ledger analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Ensure financials are accurate and ready for distribution to ownership groups
Qualifications For The Property Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry
- Experience with commercial, mixed use or residential property accounting
- Strong Excel skills
