- Report directly to the SVP/CFO with high visibility into organizational finance and compliance
- Own grant compliance across multiple affiliated entities and federal/state agencies — broad, meaningful scope
- Serve as the primary liaison with grant agencies, building strong external relationships
- Lead training and functional direction for staff supporting grant accounting and compliance
- Play a key role in audit readiness, including Single Audit preparation

- Opportunity to build and improve grant tracking systems and processes from the ground up
- Manage grant-related financial and programmatic reporting for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Review grant contracts and monitor compliance with federal, state, local, and contractual requirements
- Coordinate grantor reports, reimbursement requests, and grant-related accounting reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes related to grant financials
- Coordinate internal, funder, and annual financial audit activities, including Single Audit schedules
- Develop and maintain grant tracking systems, SOPs, and compliance training
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in grant management, compliance, or grant accounting, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Experience with federal and/or state grants, funder reporting, reimbursement processes, and audit support required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial or grant management systems
