Corporate Controller (Hands‑On) - Bethesda, MD

We are seeking a hands‑on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations in a growing government contracting environment. This is a true player‑coach role for an experienced GovCon leader who can both drive strategy and personally manage complex accounting within Deltek Costpoint.

Salary - $170-$190k

Key Responsibilities Of The Corporate Controller

• Own the General Ledger and personally lead month‑end and year‑end close
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (GAAP/FAR compliant)
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and job cost accuracy
• Calculate and monitor Fringe, Overhead, and G&A rates
• Prepare financial statements, flux analysis, and executive reporting
  
  

Qualifications For The Corporate Controller

• 10 years accounting experience, including 7 years in GovCon
• Expert‑level Deltek Costpoint experience required
• Strong working knowledge of FAR, CAS, GAAP, and GovCon compliance
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to operate at an executive level
