- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Oversee weekly certified payroll for union employees and ensure compliance with union benefits, dues, fringe contributions, and prevailing wage requirements
- Maintain job cost reporting and monitor project profitability
- Partner with Project Managers on change orders, billings, retainage, budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis
- Coordinate annual audits, bonding requirements, banking relationships, and insurance audits
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Manage and mentor accounting staff
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Contracting industry experience required
- Strong understanding of union and certified payroll requirements
- Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and construction accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with construction accounting systems such as Spectrum, Vista, Sage 300, or similar
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Abington, MA
