- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements for leadership and Board review
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis aligned with organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, including grant tracking and fund accounting
- Manage annual audit process and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
- Monitor cash flow, financial health, and internal controls to ensure fiscal responsibility
- Oversee grant reporting and compliance with donor and funding requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and process improvements
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Prior nonprofit accounting experience required (fund accounting and grant management)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting standards
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financials to non-financial stakeholders
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
