As Controller, you will lead the accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Overseeing general ledger, WIP reporting, and project accounting across three related companies
- Managing and developing a team of 3 (including clerks and a staff accountant)
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Supporting construction accounting and project-based financial reporting
- Strengthening internal controls and improving accounting processes (Vista experience preferred)
- Partnering with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
- Assisting with audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in construction, project accounting, or WIP strongly preferred
- Prior leadership experience managing or mentoring a team
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and process improvement
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
