What You'll Do
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Match invoices to supporting documentation and ensure proper approvals are obtained
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Assist with month-end AP reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records in accordance with organizational policies
- Support audits and provide requested AP documentation
- Collaborate with accounting and administrative staff on process improvements and special projects
- 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach
