What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Project Manager position at CFS Solutions?
Project Manager — Implementation (Remote, US Eastern hours)
CFS Solutions builds check imaging and deposit automation software for ATMs and ITMs, used by 500 banks and credit unions nationwide. We're hiring a Project Manager to take each new client from signed agreement to go-live — and own it start to finish.
What you'll do
- Own 20 implementation projects at a time: schedule, client communication, and the HubSpot project record
- Run requirements calls with banks, credit unions, and our reseller partners
- Install and configure CFS server software on Linux (hosted and on-prem), then set up and license the terminals
- Validate connectivity, file transmission, and transaction completeness before go-live
- Coordinate on-site technicians, core providers, and image processors through testing and cutover
- Troubleshoot configuration, authentication, and network issues through onboarding and beyond
What you bring
- 2 years running client-facing implementation or technical projects, several at once
- Hands-on Linux: install software from the command line, manage systemd services, edit config files, read logs
- Working knowledge of SFTP, HTTPS, and TLS; comfortable in Windows services and remote-access tools
- Clear written and spoken communication with technical and non-technical people
- Follow-through — you chase open items and close loops without being asked
Nice to have: fintech, banking, ATM/ITM, or check-imaging background; HubSpot; cloud Linux (Azure); SQL basics.
Pay and setup: $55,000.00-$60,000.00/year, full-time, fully remote. Available during US Eastern business hours; occasional after-hours installs and cutovers.
CFS is a Banyan Software company with 25 years serving community financial institutions.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
